MODULE 2 - Reflection on my teaching and things I would like to change or improve.

I teach English in a primary school and working with 7 to 14 year-olds can sometimes be very challenging. I would like to change the way they learn from todays "I teach, they listen" to something more fun and exciting for themselves. I`d like them to start thinking more creatively, than just follow the tasks I give them. I find it hard to interest them in anything, because they don`t seem to have any interests apart from video games. I would like to find ways to keep them motivated and I hope PBL could help with that. In the projects we did last year, they really showed interest and creativity, but unfortunately not all students could / wanted to participate. I would also like to use more ICT tools in my teaching, `cause they seem to react to that. Hopefully I will also be given the equipment in my classroom where I could use ICT tools. :-)
